Cedar & Porch Properties helps connect displaced families with furnished, pet-friendly temporary housing. We’re based in Portland, Oregon, where we offer furnished monthly rentals, and we have a nationwide network of housing providers to help with needs in other markets.
We work with insurance adjusters, ALE coordinators, relocation companies, and temporary housing providers to help find options that fit each household’s location, timeline, size, and needs. Displacement can follow fire, water, or mold damage, or another emergency that makes a home temporarily uninhabitable.
Our Portland rentals are move-in ready, pet-friendly, and available for monthly stays with flexible lease terms. We communicate with families and housing partners about availability, documentation, and budget requirements throughout the process.

Insurance housing is a temporary furnished home for people who can’t live in their residence while repairs are underway. It may be arranged through Additional Living Expense (ALE) coverage, depending on the policy and claim approval.
Cedar & Porch Properties provides furnished monthly rentals in Portland and works with families, adjusters, ALE coordinators, and relocation companies to coordinate housing needs. We work with placements involving major carriers such as State Farm, Liberty Mutual, and Allstate, as well as housing networks including ALE Solutions, Sedgwick, CRS, and Alacrity.
